About the Role
Our client, a leading UK law firm, is looking to hire a Corporate M&A Associate to join its Singapore office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Singapore-qualified lawyer to work on a broad and varied deal pipeline, gaining exposure to cross-border and regional transactions alongside a collegiate and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
• Advise on a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets deals, joint ventures and corporate re-organizations
• Manage transaction workstreams, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents
• Liaise directly with clients, regulators and other stakeholders throughout the deal process
• Work closely with partners and senior associates on deal strategy and execution
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the corporate practice
Key Requirements
• 2-4 years PQE, Singapore qualified
• Broad experience across M&A, capital markets and corporate re-organisation would be viewed favorably
• Strong commercial acumen and sound legal judgment
• A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
